Website cost calculator: buy or subscribe.

A quote usually states the price of building the site. What it costs over the years is rarely in it. Enter your figures and see the total cost compared with the subscription.

Period

The subscription has a minimum term of 24 months, so shorter periods are calculated with 24 months. All amounts net, plus 19 % VAT.

Enter the figures from your quote. The comparison appears right away.

What makes up the total cost of a website?

Besides the one-off build there are running costs: hosting, domain, maintenance and updates, often a support fee as well. On top come changes after launch, such as new pages, copy or images, and possibly licences for themes, plug-ins or fonts.

The calculator adds these items up over the period you choose. You see not only what the website costs in the first month but what it has cost you in total after three or five years.

  • Build: design, development, copy, set-up
  • Running: hosting, domain, updates, security, support
  • Per year: changes, extensions, licences

When does a website subscription pay off?

A subscription spreads the cost evenly. With the Clieni Media website subscription you pay €99.00 per month net with no set-up fee and a minimum term of 24 months. Hosting, updates, support and up to 4 new pages per year are included.

Whether buying or subscribing is cheaper depends on your quote and the period. The calculator shows it with your own figures, no estimates.
